Mr. Rossman has volunteered for more than 20 years at the Legal Access Point free legal clinic through the Hennepin County Government Center.
For more than a decade, John has proudly served as a sought-after mentor for law students through the formal mentoring program at the University of St. Thomas.
Benjamin J. Kirk
Ben Kirk is an accomplished litigator with more than a decade of successful experience in Federal court, State court, and arbitration. Ben is a devoted advocate for the legal rights of creditors, financial institutions, and debt collectors. Further, Ben has extensive experience in construction law, representing general contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers in litigation, arbitration, transactional matters, and debt collection. He also has substantial experience representing homeowners’ associations in litigation, transactional matters, and debt collection.

Ben has been practicing law since 2012 and is admitted to the bar in Minnesota and North Dakota. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, where he received recognition for his academic excellence and oral argument skills. During his time in law school, he interned for The Honorable Joan N. Ericksen, District Court Judge, District of Minnesota.

Ben is originally from Red Wing, Minnesota. In his spare time, Ben enjoys fishing, golfing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends.

Trevor S. Johnson
Trevor Johnson is an experienced litigator who honed his courtroom advocacy early in his career as a prosecutor and has continued with zealous representation of clients in civil matters in federal and state courts. Trevor represents creditors, financial institutions, and debt collectors, wielding a thorough understanding of the law and the facts of each case through effective written and oral advocacy. Trevor has a proven track record of efficiently resolving matters for his clients and has experience representing residential and commercial builders and trade workers in construction defect disputes. Trevor is driven to demystify legal challenges and help clients craft solutions that align with their goals. His commitment to clear communication and strategic advocacy ensures that his clients' rights are vigorously defended and that clients understand what's happening along the way.
Trevor is licensed to practice in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa and admitted to the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota, and the Western District of Wisconsin. A Twin Cities native, Trevor received his undergraduate degree from the University of Northwestern—St. Paul and his J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law.
Garrett J. Crowley
Garrett Crowley is a litigator at heart. Garrett began his career defending insurance claims, building a foundation of litigation skills. One thing is for certain — Garrett is passionate about his clients. Garrett’s dedication is reflected in his meticulous approach to case management and his commitment to achieving favorable outcomes for those he represents.
Garrett is licensed to practice in Minnesota. Garrett earned his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University (magna cum laude) and his J.D. from the Mitchell Hamline School of Law (cum laude).
Garrett is originally from Fountain City, Wisconsin. In his spare time, Garrett enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and watching his sports teams (Packers, Badgers, and Cyclones).

John H. Bedard, Jr. is of-counsel to Rossman Attorney Group, PLLC and is the managing attorney of Bedard Law Group, P.C.

John is an AV rated attorney and nationally recognized authority on the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. He serves as counsel to several professional trade associations, including the Georgia Collectors Association. John is a published writer on industry topics and a former member of the Board of Directors of the industry's leading professional trade organization, ACA International, The Association of Credit and Collection Professionals. John is recognized by Collection Advisor magazine as one of the nation's top 50 most influential people in the collection industry. He serves as the State of Georgia Compliance Chairperson for ACA International and is a former Chairperson and Program Designation award recipient of ACA International's Members Attorney Program.
John is a nationally recognized speaker and travels the country training collectors and educating industry associations, clients, and vendors who provide products and services to the industry. John is licensed to practice law only in Georgia and Tennessee. John received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Pennsylvania State University and a Juris Doctor degree from Syracuse University College of Law. He has spent his entire career serving the credit and collection industries.
Jonathan Aust
Jonathan Aust is of-counsel to Rossman Attorney Group, PLLC and an attorney at Bedard Law Group, P.C.
Jonathan Aust represents debt collectors, creditors, and asset buyers focusing his practice on civil defense litigation and assisting clients with their compliance needs. Prior to joining the firm, Jonathan represented individuals bringing mass tort asbestos claims involving federal court multi-district litigation. Jonathan is licensed in North Carolina and Georgia and admitted to state and federal courts in each state.
Jonathan received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Appalachian State University, graduating cum laude, and with departmental honors. He then earned his Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law. During law school, Jonathan was a member of Elon’s moot court team and was involved in the Legal Aid clinic. Jonathan had the opportunity to represent clients in eviction hearings in Magistrate Court and in unemployment benefits hearings with the North Carolina Employment Security Commission.
David Kleber
David Kleber is of-counsel to Rossman Attorney Group, PLLC and an attorney at Bedard Law Group, P.C.

David brings to Bedard Law Group more than 20 years' experience as a collection attorney, including 5 years as the managing attorney of a nationally recognized law firm. David has tried hundreds of cases and successfully defended creditors and asset buyers against consumer claims under state and federal consumer protection laws. David is a frequent speaker and published author on topics such as bankruptcy and garnishment law. David is proud to serve as one of only three Board Certified creditors' rights specialists in the State of Georgia. David is an active member of ACA International and has served as President of the Georgia Collectors Association.
David is licensed to practice law in Georgia and is authorized to appear before all Georgia courts. He is also a registered Georgia mediator and arbitrator and manages Bedard Law Group's Insight voice analytics service. David received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Georgia.
Ronald S. Canter, Esq.
Ronald S. Canter is of-counsel to Rossman Attorney Group, PLLC and is the managing attorney of the Law Offices of Ronald Canter, LLC.

Ronald S. Canter established The Law Offices of Ronald S. Canter, LLC in 2008. Mr. Canter has been engaged in the private practice of law since 1980. He is a recognized authority on creditor rights and the regulation of collection practices. He has represented creditors, attorneys and collection agencies in complex litigation including class action defense in both Federal and state courts.
Mr. Canter has successfully defended lawsuits and prosecuted appeals before state and federal courts on significant issues involving the credit and collection industry. He appeared, as counsel of record, for the National Creditors Bar Association (NCBA) in Heintz v. Jenkins, the first Fair Debt Collection Practices case to reach the Supreme Court.
Mr. Canter has been qualified as an expert witness by several judges in areas including creditor rights, compliance duties of creditors, and the obligations of creditor rights attorneys.
Mr. Canter’s experience has earned him an “AV” rating from Martindale Hubbell’s Judicial Edition. Mr. Canter is also recognized as a “Super Lawyer.”
Tracie Rossman

Tracie Rossman, in her capacity as the Director of Operations at Rossman Attorney Group, is responsible for overseeing the firm's day-to-day operations and ensuring seamless coordination across departments. Her strong organizational skills and attention to detail are instrumental in ensuring the firm's administrative functions run smoothly, allowing the legal team to focus on delivering exceptional service to clients.
Tracie's decades of experience as a certified paralegal equipped her with a deep understanding of legal processes. This allows her to effectively support the firm's needs while streamlining workflow and improving efficiency. She is known for her conscientious approach, always ensuring that communications with clients and customers are handled with the utmost of expediency, care and professionalism.
Angeline Anderson

Angeline is a skilled professional with a diverse administrative and project management background. She graduated from the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota in 2022, earning her bachelor's degree in Business Management and Leadership. During her academic journey, Angeline interned with the Minnesota Oral Health Coalition, where she demonstrated her capabilities and was subsequently hired as a Research Coordinator upon graduation.
Following her role as a Research Coordinator, Angeline expanded her administrative expertise by serving as an Administrative Assistant at Brenk Brothers Inc. Currently, she is the Office Administrator at Rossman Attorney Group, where she applies her extensive skills in marketing, leadership, social media management, and project management to enhance operational efficiency and support the firm's objectives.
Angeline's creativity and passion for innovation are evident in her approach to problem-solving and project execution. Beyond her professional pursuits, she is enthusiastic about traveling, adventuring, kayaking, and hiking, embracing every opportunity to explore new horizons and make meaningful connections.
Stephen Hedding

Steve Hedding is an experienced legal professional with over a decade of experience in providing legal support. Steve is skilled in legal drafting, project management for high volumes of cases, and other general litigation activities. Steve enjoys working for the legal rights of creditors and financial institutions. Further, Steve has experience in workers' compensation, antitrust & competition, bankruptcy, and construction law.

Steve is originally from Tampa, Florida. He is married to his amazing wife, Kristi, and has two sons, Henry and George. In his spare time, Steve enjoys paddle boarding, golfing, and checking out local breweries.

Katelyn Craven

​Katelyn Craven is a second-year law student at the University of Nebraska College of Law with a passion for legal research and a strong foundation in international relations. Before pursuing law, she graduated from Bucknell University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, where she developed a keen interest in global governance and diplomacy.
Her legal expertise focuses on compliance and risk analysis, identifying potential risks, and ensuring adherence to regulations across various industries. Fluent in French, Katelyn is particularly adept at navigating legal frameworks in international contexts and conducting research in multiple languages.
At Rossman Attorney Group, Katelyn contributes to complex legal matters with her analytical mindset and attention to detail. Her ability to synthesize information and present clear, actionable insights has been a valuable asset to the team.
Outside of her legal pursuits, Katelyn enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family. These activities fuel her interest in different cultures and broaden her perspective on legal systems around the world.
