Overview of Available Positions:
We are seeking a Compliance Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years of experience with the laws impacting financial institutions, servicers, creditors, and debt collectors including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and applicable State licensing and consumer protection laws. This position will entail analyzing legal issues for clients, legal research, drafting legal opinions, interpretation and application of the law to client businesses. Advanced legal writing, research and analytical skills are required and experience with drafting 50 State legal surveys and related compliance memoranda is a plus.
